It has been some time since I have put anything here. Things have been in such a state of flux its hard to keep up sometimes. I have also been relying on my pen and paper journal writing to keep me sane, and much of its contents are things I'd rather not share with the world of the internet.
I doubt many people actually read this anymore anyways.
The important basics, my mother has recovered well from her bout with lyme disease. She has returned to work and things seem to be going well with regards to her health. This has helped bring a sense of normality back to my home life, though I find that I am still recovering from the ordeal on some levels.

Probably the most obvious change for me is my perception of time. Everything feels like slow motion to me these days. Its more obvious sometimes than others. In times of action, everything happens at a pace where I can react quickly, on the downside, overall time feels like it drags on. Minutes can feel like hours, days feel like weeks. I can't grasp how recently things occur because I have difficulty remembering the separation of days.
Emotionally it causes me to fluctuate constantly, since the level of sensory input bombarding me is increased due to perceiving everything more. Day to day, I can't tell how I'll be, fine one day, an emotional pit the next

I guess this is one of things I'll have to adapt to, its just been a while since I've lived in this heightened state that feels like uber awareness.
Why I'm writing this now at 6am at Rohobeth, the morning of Pumpkin Chunkin is beyond me.

I'm so freaking addicted to this song. Seriously. I've listened to it 8 times already today.

Thanks, everyone. Nearly all wrapped up. A few more weeks, and then we shall say our very fond farewells. What a lovely year. =)
